Group Facilitator, Standing Together Cymru
Treena has recently joined The Mental Health Foundation as a Group Facilitator in the Standing Together Cymru Project.
Prior to this she facilitated self-advocacy groups for people with learning disabilities and has worked on a national advocacy helpline for children and young people in Wales.
Treena has a passion for helping others, particularly those with vulnerability, to feel empowered and more able to understand their rights and make their own informed decisions.
Outside of work Treena is a busy mum to a toddler and a baby (and a disobedient dog). She enjoys keeping active and being outdoors as much as she loves a hot chocolate on the sofa.
Treena also has a creative side she likes to exercise whenever possible. Personal experience has led Treena to truly value the importance of looking after her mental health.
